Services

MORNING 11.00 a.m. Service every Sunday

    • Creche, Sunday club & bible study during the service.

EVENING Pans Praise 6.30 on last Sunday of every month in the church to which all are welcome

    • Wide variety of forms of praise involving members of the congregation in Bible readings
    • Prayers, drama, dance and giving talks and there are often visiting speakers

HOLY COMMUNION

  Card Communion at 11am on the last Sundays of February, October and at Pentecost.

    • Also on Advent Sunday, the second Sunday of  January, Palm Sunday and the first Sunday of September.
    • Brief and informal Communion at 9.30 on the first  Sunday of every month.
    • Open Air Communion on Easter Sunday: Meets in the congregational garden (weather permitting)
      at 8a.m. and is followed by a light breakfast in the church hall.
    • Home Communion: This service is offered to people who are ill or housebound and unable to attend church

SUMMER SERVICES

  11.00 A.M. every Sunday

    • A special programme is run for the children during the service

OFFICE BEARERS SERVICE

    • 11.00 a.m. The service is conducted by members of the Congregational Board and Kirk Session and is held every 1-2 years

GUILD SERVICE

    • 11.00a.m. Organised by members of the guild and is usually based on their theme for the year.
    • This year’s service was held on Sunday 20th November  where the President of the Guild gave a report on this year’s activities within the guild. Prayers and bible readings were given by guild members

YOUTH SERVICES

    • Held annually with maximum participation of the youth in Praise, Prayer, Dance and Drama. Usually a very lively service where anything can happen.
    • This service is open to all the Youth Groups within the community, Guides, Brownies, Rainbows, BBs etc.

SUNDAY CLUB SERVICE

    • Held annually in June and incorporates the children’s Prize Giving.

MISSION PARTNER SERVICE

    • Our mission partner Oliver Stegan is often invited to speak at either the morning service or Pans Praise service when he is home from Nairobi, Kenya to keep us updated with his work on bible translation.

REMEMBERING OUR LOVED ONES SERVICE

    • This is a very quiet and reflective service where loved ones we have lost are especially remembered
    • This year’s service will be held on Sunday 11th December at 3.00p.m. in the church

CHRISTMAS SERVICES

    • Nativity Service: Usually last Sunday before Christmas (Sunday 18th December this year) organised by the Sunday Club. Tea/coffee and mincemeat pies are served in the hall after the service
    • Christmas Eve Service: 7.00 p.m. Led by the Youth Team and Pans Praise Band
    • Watch Night service: 11.00 p.m.  Time for reflection and traditional praise
    • Christmas Day  service: 11.00 Informal all age service where children are encouraged to bring along a present so that the minister can play with it!!!!
